Welcome Readers and Subscribers. Provincetown Arts, in its 19th year of publication, was recently issued in June of 2006. Information for subscribers and advertisers, excepts from previous editions, and information about other publishing activities by Provincetown Arts Press will be included here on a continuing basis.

Provincetown Arts is an award-winning magazine distributed regionally and throughout the United States and Canada by Ingram Distribution. The magazine is eagerly sought after at Barnes and Noble, Border’s Books, Tower Books, and Amazon.com as well as specialty book stores and other fine establishments across the country.


Provincetown Arts has won the following awards: Best American Short Stories: 100 Distinguished Writers; Best American Movie Writing; Best American Essays; Best American Poetry; Pushcart Prize; American Literary Magazine’s first place for Editorial Content and first place for Design.


2004 Distribution: 10,000 copies with a pass along rate of 3.4 persons per copy, estimated 2004 readership is 34,000 copies. Survey conducted by First Market Research of Boston, Massachusetts.


The 2004 issue of Provincetown Arts is listed with the EBSCO Library Service, serving approximately 1500 libraries nationwide. Provincetown Arts is also found in Bowkers Forthcoming Books and in The Index of the Arts and the Humanities. Provincetown Arts is distributed in more than 200 cities and towns nationwide.
